For visitors and residents alike the moose will always be special.  For many visitors a common goal is to just see one.  We are located in an area which is still well populated with moose.  They are as elusive as they are majestic but evidence of their lives around us is everywhere.  Seeing one is always a highlight and should be a goal of every visitor to Tree Bear Camp.

Opportunities to hunt them are becoming more limited but do still exist.  Calf hunting seasons are shorter but still available to all Ontario residents.  Adult animal tags are fewer but still do become available to a lucky few.  If you are one of those lucky few, or are looking for warm, clean, comfortable accommodations for a moose hunt then give us a call.  We will always be on hand and have the knowledge, equipment and resources to help you in your hunt.  From guiding and information on areas to hunt or help with tracking and retrieving animals, we are there.

Our camp is located in (Wildlife Management Unit) WMU 29 but is also on the border of WMU 40 .  Either WMU is equally available and populated with moose for our guests to hunt.  Currently we rent housekeeping cabins for moose hunters but also have cooler and meat preparation facilities available.
